Week 3 Preview & Picks

Thursday July 11 7:30 PM EST Saskatchewan Roughriders @ Toronto Argonauts
The hottest team in the CFL the Riders come to Toronto to take on the defending champs at the Rogers Centre. This should be a tough contest I am torn because I am a fan of both teams but I think the Riders are on a roll so I am picking them by 3.

Friday July 12 7:30 PM EST Calgary Stampeders @ Montreal Alouettes
Kevin Glenn (15) will start on Friday against Montreal it will be interesting to see if he can get the offense rolling Drew Tate was playing well before he got hurt so Glenn will be under huge pressure to play well. The Als went through a lot of hiccups last week against the Bombers they will be focused on getting this win I am picking the Als in a tight one.

Saturday July 13 6:30 PM EST Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Hamilton Tiger Cats
The Bombers head out to Guelph to take on the Ticats these two teams I feel will be battling to the third seed in the east division so this game is huge as far as tiebreakers are concerned expect the Bombers to continue to play well on defense I am picking the Bombers by a TD.

Saturday July 13 9:30 PM EST BC Lions @ Edmonton Eskimos
The Lions head to Commonwealth Stadium to take on the Eskimos in a Saturday night tilt both teams had impressive outings in week 2 after both struggled in week 1 this game will be a good measuring stick to see how good or bad either team is I am picking the Eskimos by a field goal. Look for Mike Reilly to have a big game.

  1. Riders still the only unbeaten team in the CFL and Sheets is just awesome leading the league in rushing
