The Bombers defense stood tall and strong totally shutting down the Als offense most the night.
Bryant Turner had 3 sacks and a forced fumble and is my player of the game.
The Bombers definitely didn't play a pretty game but they sure did scrap and fight for everything with that level of effort you will always have a chance at success.
SJ Green made a great play for the TD sadly it was the only real highlight for the Als offense which was totally in disarray most the game.
The Blue Bombers went on the road and defeated the Als 19-11 in what was a defensive struggle. The Bombers D looked a whole lot like the swaggerville squad in 2011 they pressured Calvillo all night and forced turnovers at key moments to keep the momentum in their favor. After the game Anthony Calvillo was extremely frustrated and called the performance by himself, the offense, and the COACHES! As disgusting normally Calvillo is a calm even keeled guy by you could see his frustration all game and for him to call out the coaches is definitely out of character, could we be seeing the fracturing of a team that for years under Marc Trestman had great team chemistry. The Bombers pulled a tough road win if they can get a couple more road wins this year they should win 6-7 games at home withe great home field advantage they have I am tarting to think the Bombers just might be a playoff team Montreal and Hamilton you have officially been warned here come the Bombers.
