Week 2 Calgary Stampeders 21 @ Saskatchewan Roughriders 36

35,296 fans packed Mosaic Stadium setting a record for the largest crowd at a rider home opener.

Rider Nation definitely brought the volume and were treated to a great game which had their team dominate the second half.

Drew Tate (4) had the offense humming in the first half he had a solid game with 231 yards passing and 2 TDs and no INTs. But......

Tate once again suffered a injury this time he injured he elbow on his throwing arm he went in for a MRI hopefully he will be ok and be able to play next week.

Mo Price (17) nearly pulled down a big pass play, Price along with Joe West (85) and Nik Lewis (82) make up one of the best WR crew in the league.

After making adjustments at halftime the Riders took over the second half Head Coach Corey Chamblin has his players believing could we be witnessing a changing of the guard in the West. Go Riders Go!!

Weston Dressler (7) helped spark the come back. What the guy lacks in size he sure makes up with heart, effort, and speed. He had 10 receptions for 108 yards and a TD.

Rider Nation was silenced in the first half but once the Riders go rolling it was absolute bedlam at the madhouse at Mosaic.

Chris Getzlaf's (89) diving touchdown sealed the win in the 4th quarter look for him to have a huge season.

And now for my player of the game its Kory Sheets (1) who had 26 carries for 133 yards an a TD I feel like  Sheets will b a MOP candidate and could rush or 2,000 yards this season.

The Riders made a statement with this win and are now the lone undefeated team in the CFL. The Stamps were in control for most of the first half, but in the second half the Riders coaching staff made some great adjustments and they controlled and dominated every aspect of the game.
